These terms cover Peekabop, the macOS app made by chewingcode (Karim Hossenbux). By downloading or buying it you agree to them. They’re short on purpose.

Free trial

You can use every feature of Peekabop free for 7 days. After that, a license is needed to keep using it.

Your license

• A license is a one-time purchase for one person. It doesn’t expire, and it includes the app’s future updates.
• You can activate it on up to 3 Macs at a time. Deactivate a Mac from the app’s License window to free its slot for another.
• Please don’t share, resell or publish your license key, or try to get around the license check.

Payments

Purchases are sold and processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which also handles taxes, receipts and invoices.

Refunds

If Peekabop isn’t for you, write to hello@chewingcode.com within 14 days of buying and you’ll get a full refund, no questions asked. The refund is paid back to your original payment method, and the license key stops working. This doesn’t limit any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Lyrics

Peekabop shows lyrics found through third-party services (lrc.red and LRCLIB). They’re provided as they are, for your personal use while listening; we don’t own them, and we can’t promise every song is found or perfectly timed.

The usual

Peekabop is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, chewingcode isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using it, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for your license. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
